Young Heroes Fighting For Rajakumari
Just a month ago, Nara Rohith and Naga Shaurya's multi-starrer bromance, Jyo Achyutananda, saw both the young heroes playing brothers who fight with each other to win the love of the same girl.
Now, Rohith and Shaurya are continuing their fight once again for Nara Rohith's Kathalo Rajakumari. As surprising as it may sound, Naga Shaurya will be seen in a guest role in the film and the unit is currently shooting a fight sequence between both the heroes.
If the ongoing reports are to be believed, Nara Rohith will be essaying the role of an upcoming actor in Kathalo Rajakumari. However, more details about Naga Shaurya's role are yet to be revealed. The film will also see Lakshmi Manchu in a cameo of a film producer.
Debutant Mahesh Surapaneni is directing the movie and Venkata Srinivas, who had produced Nikhil's hit thriller, Karthikeya, is the producer. Ilayaraja scores the music and Chuttalabbayi heroine Namita Pramod is the heroine.
Charan Spending From his Pocket For 'Dhruva'?
There have been strong speculations in film nagar that Ram Charan is acting as the unofficial producer for Dhruva. Right from finalising the film's releasing date to all its promotions, Charan has been taking call on each and every thing. This isn't all. Rumours are also rife that Ram Charan himself is paying from his pocket. All the publicity and promotion costs have been reportedly taken care by none other than Charan.
And of course, Upasana Kamineni is the brain behind Charan and she is the one who is getting involved in all the P&A activities. Despite her busy schedule, she has kept all her important works (related to hospital administration, B Positive Magazine, Apollo Life Studio) aside, and making sure that Dhruva is aggressively promoted.
Recently, Upasana has camped in Mumbai to sort out few things and held several crucial meetings including with a PR agency to chalk out the plan. Many say that she is leaving no leaf unturned to make the film a big success and doing her best to see Charan enjoy the success.
Megastar Behind Balayya Cancelling Rythu
For the past few days, reports have been emerging that Nandamuri Balakrishna has shelved his much publicized 101st project 'Rythu'. Several reasons are being cited for this unexpected decision of Balayya but one will surely get surprised after learning the real reason.
The backstory of Balayya and Krishna Vamsi meeting Amitabh Bachchan on the sets of Sarkar 3 in Mumbai to narrate him the subject and ask him to play the crucial role of the President of India must be known to all.
Reportedly, Bollywood Mega Star Big B has softly rejected the offer of enacting the President in Rythu presumably because of his busy commitments in Bollywood. When Big B conveyed his unwillingness, Krishna Vamsi has suggested the names of several well established senior actors who could essay that character but Balayya was allegedly so stubborn that he bluntly asked Krishna Vamsi to wait until Big B gets free from his commitments.
Isn't this too amusing a reason to shelve a potential project like 'Rythu'? Isn't there any other actor capable of playing the President's role? Well, Balayya seems to think so. With Balayya not ready to take Rythu on to sets unless Big B gets on board, Krishna Vamsi is heard to have put the project on backburner.
This probably is one example why senior Telugu artistes every now and then blast Telugu filmmakers and heroes for not offering crucial roles to them and running behind other language actors.
Unlucky First Look Poster
Modi's demonetization move has affected the film industry in many ways with some films getting stuck in labs, some unreleased and some got nipped in the bud itself. Here is another bizarre manner in which the Modi blow has landed on tollywood.
Some of the films whose shooting has been wrapped up, are now going for reshoots. Let's take the example of Manchu Vishnu's upcoming film 'Luckunnodu'. The title itself gave an idea that the film deals with money and the first look poster confirmed it. Vishnu was seen sitting like a king amidst a pile of cash bundles in the poster.
Well, after the old currency has been scrapped, wouldn't it look funny if the characters in the film shown running around for those defunct notes? Reportedly, in most of the scenes of Luckunnodu, money bundles were used. While some shots can be corrected using graphics, some scenes have to be reshot in order not to make a mess of them. This in turn will be a tedious task for the makers as they have to once again acquire the dates of all actors and shell out sizeable bucks.
Irony is that a film having 'Luckunnodu' as its title has faced this unlucky situation.
Balayya Chooses 16th, Chiru Picks 18th
The two major Sankranthi releases Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Khaidi No:150' and Balakrishna's 'Gautami Putra Satakarni' are going to take heads on even before the actual release.
With it comes to their audio launch schedules, while Chiru was planning Khaidi music event on 16th December Balakrishna came up with the same date for GSPK launch in Tirupathi. It is also learnt that Andhra Pradesh CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu will grace this event in Tirupathi.
So, now, Megastar had to step back and choose a new audio date. After heavy discussions within the team, Konidela Productions seems to have locked 18th December for the music launch of the prestigious film. According to our birdies, Vizag and Vijayawada are two venues under consideration for the event.
Also, both the films are highly battling it out to stand first in the Sankranthi race. While Chirrantan Bhat has composed audio numbers for GSPK, the sound track of Khaidi No:150 is being helmed by Devi Sri Prasad.
Kajal Failed to Repeat 'Pakka Local' Magic!
Actress Kajal Aggarwal has recently created mass hysteria in theatres and exceeded the expectations of glamor dose in her first item song 'Pakka Local' that was featured in the biggest hit of this year, 'Janatha Garage'. Now, it seems that Kajal's another attempt to replicate similar magic didn't work.
Kajal's latest Tamil film 'Kavalai Vendam' (Enthavaraku Ee Prema in Telugu) was released in theatres on 24th Novemeber. The romantic entertainer has received largely mixed to negative reviews.
There was an earlier talk in film circles that Kajal had showered glamour in the film in such an audacious manner that even Censor Board members got surprised. Adding strength to these reports were the heavily seducing posters of Kajal and a bikini song of hers in the film.
Despite all these, the film hasn't made much noise at the box office, going by the day one reports. In fact, the film's Telugu version wasn't released as per schedule and now makers reportedly worry feeling even if Kajal couldn't, who else can save their film?
Isn't Rajinikanth a Superstar in Telugu?
Rajinikanth is called by his fans and the film fraternity as the superstar of South. His stardom isn't limited to Tamil Nadu and the actor's recent film "Kabali" has once again proved this by beating the opening records at national level. But, it is heard that director Shankar still believes he needs a bigger star than Rajini to make his film work in the Telugu states.
Reports are emerging that Shankar is mulling over to rope in one of the star heroes of Tollywood to play a cameo in his upcoming high budget visual extravaganza '2.0'. The film has Rajinikanth reprising his role from the swashbuckling hit film 'Robot', which shattered the box office records of top Tollywood heroes' films a few years earlier.
Although Rajini's subsequent films failed at box office, it was largely because of the unimpressive content and high business involved. Despite all these, Shankar reportedly wants a big Tollywood hero to play a cameo in '2.0' to attract the Telugu audiences.
Mahesh babu and Prabhas are the two names that Shankar has in mind, say reports. Well, being a down-to-earth personality, Rajini wouldn't mind this but would his fans encourage Shankar's tactics?
Chaitu has No Time for Family?
Akkineni Naga Chaitanya's uncle and senior filmmaker D. Suresh Babu has for a long time been planning to produce a film starring his nephew but it seems that the project will not materialize any time soon.
Some time ago, it was heard that the young actor and the shrewd filmmaker have decided up on joining forces for a film to be directed by debutant Krishna but the latest reports suggest that the film has been put on hold indefinitely, reason reported being the busy schedule of Chaitu.
After the release of 'Premam' and 'Saahasam Swasaga Saagipo', Chaitu has lined up some interesting projects including 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' fame Kalyan Krishna's untitled film, the Telugu remake of Bollywood film 'Two States' and another film with Gautham Menon, which would be marking his debut in kollywood.
So, it is heard that Chaitu and Suresh Babu have mutually decided not to rush and work together at the appropriate time. Meanwhile, Suresh Babu is busy with the production of his son Rana Daggubati's film in the direction of Teja.
One Flight Journey with Bunny Changed His Fate
One flight journey has changed writer Vakkantham Vamsi's fate forever in Tollywood. Vamsi had accidentally encountered with Allu Arjun in an airport where the duo got some time to chat and exchange things. In one such unexpected interaction, Vamsi has narrated a story-line to Allu Arjun and the actor was quite struck with the idea.
Since Vamsi had already worked with Bunny for Race Gurram and Yevadu, Bunny is aware of Vamsi's capabilities and his knowledge on filmmaking. Though he is at the peak of his career with an industry hit like Sarrainodu, Arjun had no second thought before accepting to do a film with a newcomer director like Vamsi.
Without any delay, Allu Arjun has given his nod to Vamsi to take it further. The film is now going to be produced by Lagadapati Sridhar and Naga Babu jointly. Sridhar has longtime commitment with Allu Arjun. As soon as Vamsi's story is okayed by him, the film got materialised. This is expected to roll on in 2017 after Bunny's ongoing film Duvvada Jagannadam.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun continues to take calculated risks. He is also teaming up with Tamil director Linguswamy whose last directorial Sikindar bombed at the ticket windows.
'Singam' Director Says Who Is NTR, Fans Angry!
In the last couple of days, news emerged that alongside a few other directors, NTR Jr was also in talks with Tamil director Hari for his new film. NTR fans were obviously excited as Hari is a noted name in both Telugu and Tamil film industries for his commercial entertainers. However, Hari has allegedly given a rude shock to the fans of NTR as well as rational movie lovers by saying that he didn't know who NTR was.
During the promotions of his upcoming action entertainer S3, when Hari was asked if he was contemplating to direct NTR in his next project, Hari has reportedly said that he didn't know NTR and he heard the name for the first time. 'I have never met him until now,' Hari allegedly said.
These comments allegedly enraged the fans of NTR, who is one of the top heroes in south. 'People in southern film fraternity are aware at least of the top heroes of neighboring industries then how come Hari hasn't heard of NTR,' questioned fans of NTR.
It was really surprising that Hari doesn't know NTR as he has shot most of his films in Visakhapatnam and he regularly visits the Telugu states for his film promotions and shootings. Let's wait and see how he covers up this mess when he lands in Hyderabad to promote S3.
Anirudh's Sketch to Dance with Pawan?
After missing Ram Charan's 'Bruce Lee', 'Dhruva' and Trivikram's 'A..Aa', star Tamil music director Anirudh has finally signed his maiden Telugu project, Pawan Kalyan-Trivikram's upcoming entertainer. The young sensation has now revealed that he has exciting ideas for this project.
When questioned if he has already started working for Pawan Kalyan's film, Anirudh divulged that he has not but added that he has a complete grip on the story and how the film will be shaped up.
When questioned if he has already started working for Pawan Kalyan's film, Anirudh divulged that he has not but added that he has a complete grip on the story and how the film will be shaped up.
'I will give my best effort to meet the expectations of everyone. I am frequently holding discussions with Trivikram sir and for this movie, I am planning to compose promotional songs as well,' revealed Anirudh.
In general, the trend of composing promotional songs for movies is seen in Bollywood. For Telugu films, neither the makers demand nor the music directors compose special promotional songs. If we dig a little deep, for Allu Arjun's 'Julayi', the Devi Sri Prasad's composed 'Pakdo Pakdo' song was used in the film as well as a promotional song. In the promotional video song, Devi and Bunny danced together for the rocking tune.
Similar special songs, besides the regular album, can be expected from Anirudh to promote the highly anticipated third collaboration of Pawan and Trivikram.
Bichagadu Is South India's Richest Millionaire
In September, Bichagadu, the Telugu version of Tamil star music director turned hero Vijay Antony's blockbuster emotional thriller, Pichaikaran, was premiered on Gemini TV and registered a sensational 18.75 TRPs on BARC scale.
Continuing the trend, the film's original version, Pichaikaran, now smashed all the existing records of South Indian movies with a TRP of 24.55, occupying the all-time highest TRP earner slot South Indian movies. Pichaikaran was premiered on SunTV on November 13th.
What's staggering about the film's achievement is that it has surpassed the likes of Nagarjuna's Sriramadasu (24), Rajamouli's Magadheera (22), Baahubali (21.84), Srimanthudu (21.24) etc, while the Tamil movie premiere TRPs are way below than the Telugu movies comparison.
Directed by Sasi and produced by Fathima Vijay Antony, Pichaikaran collected nearly 45 crores at Tamil box-office, while it added another 25 plus crores with the Telugu version.
RGV Promise To Rajamouli, Megastar
Ram Gopal Varma is one director who can make films in given budget. He is capable of making high as well as low budget films with good quality of production standards. One thing for sure is he mesmerizes audiences every time with his technical skills. He made Ice Cream series in shoe-string budget and now set to make a highest ever budgeted film in India. The maverick director today announced to make a film titled 'Nuclear' with International actors to be shot in various locations of China, Russia, Yemen and India with an estimated budget of Rs 340 crores, excluding actors remunerations and publicity.Ace director SS Rajamouli who admires RGV has lauded him saying, "RGV back with a "BANG"...? Literally..."RGV stated that, Baahubali is his inspiration to make this mega budget venture and promised him to make a blast."Sirrrr and like I promised u one night on phone about my inspiration from BB I will for sure go all out to make this Bang into a BLAST," stated RGV.Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan with whom RGV is making Sarkar 3 has also praised RGV for making an International film. "RGV (SARKAR) doing International project .. BAAAADDUUUUMMMBAAAAAAAAAAA !! very deserving and about time .. congratulations Ramu!" posted Big B On Twitter.Apparently, RGV is delighted with Big B's remarks. He replied him saying, "Thank u Sarkaaaaar! I don't know if I am deserving but I will work my ass off to make u proud for ur trust in me."Let's hope, RGV will make Indians proud with this International film.
Dhruva Postponed Again?
If latest grapevine in Telugu film nagar is anything to go by, Ram Charan's ongoing film Dhruva has been postponed again. The film, which is said to have planned to release on Dec 2, is reportedly pushed by a week and the latest is that the movie would hit the screens on Dec 9. While the reasons for the delay are best-guarded, it's learnt that the shooting of song in Bangkok is still pending and have to wrap up the post-production and kick start film's promotions which would take at least three to four more weeks. This is not the first time, the film is postponed. The film was initially planned for October release, on the eve of Dasara. But frequent delays have caused in the postponement of film.In fact, producer NV Prasad had bought the film's Telugu remake rights for a fat pay cheque of Rs 8 Crore (including director Mohan Raja's pay) during the shooting of Bruce Lee itself. However, after Bruce Lee has ended as dud, Ram Charan has had change of mind which resulted in the delay of starting the film. The film took large number of days in the pre-production phase and makers have zeroed in on director Surender Reddy on board for around Rs 3 Crore and reportedly shelled out another Rs 3 Crore for Aravind Swamy. Besides remunerations of Charan, Rakul, other cast and crew, makers have spent a bomb on the filming of the action thriller.Meanwhile, producers have confirmed that the film wouldn't have any audio launch and instead release the film's music directly into the market. Instead, there would be a pre-release promotional event which is expected to draw buzz. As of now, the release date of Dhruva is still in quandary and an official announcement is still awaited.
Chiru's One Shot- Two Birds Formula!
As Chiranjeevi's Khaidi 150 is prepping up for a wide release this Sankranthi, we learnt that the film is being distributed by Chiru's trusted aides, loyalists in most regions. The strategy behind handing over the film to his loyalists is considered as 'killing two birds with one stone' in film fraternity. While Chiru and his team can boast this as Chiru's gratitude, thanksgiving towards his loyalists and the most important reason is that the "Box office numbers wouldn't go out".Since Chiru's cameo in Bruce Lee hasn't worked as expected and the film has backfired, mega fans and team Chiru is making its moves wisely. Given that it is Mega Star's landmark film, producer Ram Charan doesn't want to take any chances and decided to give away the theatrical rights of the film to mega loyalists only. Though few others have approached to buy the film's theatrical rights, the makers have tactically quoted big figures so that they would back out. As expected, many distributors have opted out seeing hefty figures. This led Charan to play his strategy as planned before. In fact, Charan has borrowed the strategy from another star hero (within the family) whose film was released by own distribution network. However, the film saw good numbers surpassing their expectations and turned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters this year. And another blockbuster film of another star hero (outside the family) has scored the success as the producers give away theatrical rights to their loyalists and the film went onto become the industry hit. Even Charan is going to follow the same policy for his ongoing Dhruva which will be released by his closed aides. Looks like, it has become sentiment for mana heroes to release films through loyal distributors. After all, it's a 'One shot - Two Birds' formula and it seems to be a win-win situation.
Sukumar Mark Title For RC11
Director Sukumar is happy man since his last directorial Nannaku Prematho was a big hit and his maiden production venture Kumari 21F was also a commercial success. The director is currently relaxing in Paris along with his family. He has already completed penning script and is waiting for Charan to start the project.Buzz is that 'Facebook Live Chat At 8.18 PM' is title being considered for the 11th film of Ram Charan. Sukumar likes to put different titles for his films and this time too he is mulling over putting an attention-grabbing title. The title indicates that, hero-heroine romance develops with their friendship in social media- Facebook.
The combination of Ram Charan and Sukumar itself is creating curiosity and the title makes it a crazy venture. Nonetheless, we need to wait for official confirmation on this.
This film to be produced by Mythri Movie Makers will be a romantic entertainer like Charan's previous film Orange. But, Sukku is said to have penned an entertaining story for Charan to provide him a hit.
Ram Charan will romance Raashi Khanna in the film that will have music by Devi Sri Prasad. Regular shooting of the film kick starts in December. More details are awaited
Two Kannada actors died while shoot
In what can be called a saddening incident, two Kannada actors who were filming for an upcoming movie 'Masti Gudi' were drowned to death at Bengaluru this afternoon.
Masti Gudi, starring Duniya Vijay, was undergoing the shoot of an intense action sequence at Tippagondanahalli lake on Magadi Road, 35km from Bengaluru. The air stunt involving actor Vijay and two others, Anil and Uday, was failed miserably and lead to missing of two young artists while Vijay swam to shore.
The police unit from concerned area Ramanagara have clarified that chances of finding them are very thin and SP Chandragupta spoke to media and told, "The search operation is going on and a criminal case will be filed against movie makers."
As part of the stunt, the three actors had to jump into the lake from a helicopter but poor safety measures have brought them a colossal loss.
7 Doctor Strange Stories To Check Out Before The Movie
Doctor Strange has been casting spells in the Marvel Universe for over five decades, but next month, he'll finally join the big leagues when his first theatrical movie hits theaters in the U.S. Starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Doctor Strange will explore how the eponymous protagonist went from being a cocky surgeon to one of Earth's magical defenders in the MCU
. Although this cinematic universe has already touched on mystical forces in the Netflix shows and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., this movie will fully pull back the curtain on magic
Even though there's only a week until the Sorcerer Supreme
's big screen exploits, that's still plenty of time to learn about him from his adventures in comics and other media. That's why we've compiled this list of Doctor Strange stories to check out, ranging from the Silver Age to the modern era. Unless otherwise noted, these stories can be found either as collections or at digital sources like Comixology (or in one entry's case, on Blu-ray/DVD/digitally)
Doctor Strange: The Oath
If you ask a hardcore Doctor Strange fan what's the main comic book story to read starring the good Doctor, chances are they'll mention The Oath first. Written by Brian K. Vaughn and illustrated by Marcos Martin, this five-issue story arc saw Stephen Strange dealing with one of his former surgeon colleagues, Nicodemus West, who will actually be played by Michael Stuhlbarg in the live action movie. However, while the cinematic Nicodemus has simply been described as a "rival scientist," his comic book counterpart actually wielded mystical forces against the Sorcerer Supreme. The Oath also followed Strange trying to heal Wong from his terminal cancer. As far as self-contained tales go, outside of Strange's origin, The Oath definitely should rank at the top of your must-read list
7 Doctor Strange Stories To Check Out Before The Movie
Doctor Strange: The Eternity Saga
The early years of Doctor Strange were some of the craziest. Sure, comic book adventures were weird and unusual, but never before had they been so psychedelic. The Eternity Saga is a prime example of this. Original published as Strange Tales#130-144, this tale from good ol' Stan Lee and Steve Ditko saw Doctor Strange meeting Eternity, the leader of all the abstract entities in the Marvel universe. Strange had to find him in order to learn how to defeat Baron Mordo and Dormammu, two of his greatest adversaries who joined forces for the first time. This particular storyline hasn't been collected as its own volume yet, but if you can track down Essential Doctor Strange Vol. 1, you'll find the tale printed within.
Doctor Strange: The Sorcerer Supreme
This is the only non-comics entry on the list, but before the live action Doctor Strange movie, this was the Sorcerer Supreme's most prominent appearance in other media (outside of the occasional guest appearance on another hero's animated series, of course). Released in 2007, Doctor Strange: The Sorcerer Supreme told the good Doctor's origin for a new generation. As with other media adaptations, the animated movie took some liberties with the source material, like adding a few original characters and having Strange encounter magic before his car accident, but for the most part, it was a neat self-contained tale that gave Stephen Strange a new way to shine. If you want to get a good sense of what Doctor Strange is all about without turning any pages, Doctor Strange: The Sorcerer Supreme would be your best bet.
Ram Gopal Varma's Forth coming Film "SARKAR 3"..........
For those who were waiting for Ram Gopal Varma to announce the cast of his forthcoming film 'Sarkar 3', you can breathe a sigh of relief. The filmmaker, in a series of tweets, has revealed the names of all the actors who are a part of the third installment of the franchise.
'Sarkar 3' will have an array of actors that we haven't witnessed on-screen together. While Amitabh Bachchan reprises his role of Subhash Nagre, new addition Jackie Shroff will play the baddie and Ronit Roy will be seen in the role of Gokul Satam, the right-hand man of Nagre. Ramu added that Manoj Bajpayee's character will be loosely based on Arvind Kejriwal. Amit Sadh will be seen playing Nagre's grandson and Yami Gautam will be seen as someone who wants to take revenge from Nagre for her father's murder. Bharat Dabholkar and Rohini Hattangadi have also joined the cast. Varma even shared details of their characters along with their first looks. Now that's one way of letting the cat of the bag.
Rajamouli Opens Up About Bahubali 2
In a recent conversation, SS Rajamouli -the director of Baahubali 2- said "The film's grandeur was due to its rich cast and VFX. Baahubali 1 was completed in 380 days after which the entire cast and crew including myself were deeply exhausted. The film was made on a budget of 160 crores and it raked in around 600 crores".
He added: "No doubt Baahubali 2 will be bigger than Baahubali 1. Part 2 has got many touching and sentimental scenes. The fans of Baahubali will get answers to many questions like what happens between Shivagami and Baahubali? What happens between Shivagami and Kattapa? And what happens between Bhallala Deva and Devasena?"
Already 60% of the film shoot has been completed. The team will shoot a war sequence in the month of May which will feature Prabhas and Rana Daggubati.
Baahubali which is slated to release on April 14 2017 is now likely to have a clash with Super Star Rajinikanth's 2.0 (Sequel of Endhiran / Robo). The makers of both the films have planned for an April14 release.
Trade sources says, though both movies release on the same day, they will not clash headlong as Baahubali is a mainstream Telugu movie while 2.0 is a Tamil film. With Vishu and the Tamil New year falling on the same day and making it a long weekend, both films can be easily accommodated.
Dil Raju Risking With "Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo" Project
Young hero Naga Chaitanya's Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo release has been postponed numerous times, since distributors haven't dared to invest on the film, and Tamil version of the bilingual had some issues. Apparently, the result of Chaitu's last outing Premam is luring buyers to gamble on the Gautam Menon directed film.
When Gautam Menon announced Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo with Naga Chaiatanya, expectations were high on the project, as this is second film in the combo after the super hit of Ye Maya Chesave. First look teasers were accolade and AR Rahman composed songs were largely admired
As per reports, Dil Raju has acquired Nizam rights of Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo. He paid Rs 4 crores as advance for producers to obtain the rights. As we all know, Dil Raju released Premam in Nizam and has pocketed profits. Seemingly, Dil Raju is hoping to cash on the success of Premam which is turning out to be biggest hit for Chaitu.
Nonetheless, delay in release caused loss of interest on the project. There were even doubts whether the film would ever hit the screens. Producers recently confirmed to release SSS on November 11th. But, reports suggest that the movie may see the light of day on December 9th.
One thing for sure is Dil Raju's initiation would attract distributors in other zones to invest on SSS!
Nandhamuri Balakrishna Beats Rajinikanth
Nandamuri Balakrishna has apparently beaten Superstar Rajinikanth. Until recently, the unique record of a South Indian film running for highest number of days in theatre had lied with Rajini as his blockbuster Chandramukhi ran for record 891 days in Shanthi theatre in Chennai. Now pipping that record to the post, Balayya-Boyapati's Legend outwitted the record as it is heading to complete 1000-day run in a theatre in Kadapa district. The film released on March 28, 2014 has completed 950-day-run and progressing towards 1000 days in Archana Theater in Proddutur.
Marking the record, director Boyapati Sreenu unveiled the Legend 1000 Days Poster. K Obul Reddy, proprietor of Archana theatre, met director Boyapati for the poster launch
Boyapati Sreenu has presented Balayya in a powerful characterization and in fact, the film also helped TDP storming to power in 2019 general elections. Several episodes in the second half of the film have coincided with then prevailing political conditions that said to have boosted the prospects of TDP
Marking the record, director Boyapati Sreenu unveiled the Legend 1000 Days Poster. K Obul Reddy, proprietor of Archana theatre, met director Boyapati for the poster launch.
Balayya fans are on cloud nine as their favourite matinee idol rewriting the history with Legend that is proceeding for an unbelievable 4 digit 1000 days run. On this memorable moment, K Obul Reddy thanked hero Balakrishna, director Boyapati, producers Ram Achanta, Gopi Achanta, Anil Sunkara and Sai Korrapati.

We might take it for granted but now I realize the value of being able to hear normally!"
